Hello! I am Freddie, a current Discrete Mathematics undergraduate at the University of Warwick, with a strong background in mathematics and computer science. Throughout my studies, I have developed a deep understanding of these topics and a structured approach to learning.

Teaching Style
I believe that students should have a proper understanding of the topics they learn, not just the ability to answer questions by rote. A superficial approach fails when faced with unfamiliar problems, such as the end-of-paper questions in exams, which require deeper reasoning. My teaching focuses on building a solid foundation, and then using it to develop flexible problem-solving skills. I do this by:
- Explaining techniques and the reasoning behind them
- Applying these methods to textbook and exam-style questions
- Re-contextualising knowledge to exercise problem-solving skills and cement understanding
